Delete your Hooves account
You can request deletion of your Hooves account and associated information.
How to request deletion
Email support@hooves.co.nz from the email address you use for Hooves. Put “Delete my Hooves account” in the subject and include your account email if you are writing from another address. Do not send a password. We may ask you to verify that the account is yours.
What happens next
We will review and process the request, remove or de-identify Hooves account data, listings, saved animals, and messages where appropriate, and tell you when it is complete. We may retain information where needed for legal obligations, dispute resolution, safety, or abuse prevention. Deletion does not remove copies another person has already saved outside Hooves.
Facebook and Google sign-in
If you used Facebook or Google to sign in, requesting Hooves account deletion removes your Hooves data; it does not delete your Facebook or Google account. You can also remove Hooves access from your Facebook or Google account settings.
